My name is Mallary Abel Heaton. I’m a teacher, mother, wife, and artist living in Sacramento. I’ve dabbled in lots of different mediums but my primary focus has been film, printmaking, crafts, and now, ceramics and textiles. I enjoy experimenting with texture & form, and juxtaposing contrasting colors & themes. I’ve always been drawn to the concept of opposites - the inside and the outside… the dark and the light… the hidden and the obvious.
